Doobie District: A Licensed Medical Dispensary on U Street

Doobie District is a licensed medical cannabis dispensary at 1526 U Street NW, in a lower-level shop between 15th and 16th Streets. We’ve been part of the U Street neighborhood since 2021. Here’s an honest look at what we carry, how shopping with us works, and what we won’t promise.

What’s on our shelves

Our menu covers the main formats: flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes and concentrates, plus accessories like papers, cones and wraps. Recent flower has come from licensed DC producers such as District Cannabis, Molecular Farms and Cultivated DC. Stock changes often, so the live menu is the place to see what’s in today.

Every product is regulated and labeled

We stock products from licensed producers, and each one carries a label with cannabinoid information, producer and batch details, and required warnings. If you’d like help reading one, ask. Our label guide is a good place to start too.

How our team helps

Tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll explain the options on the shelf: how formats differ, what a label means, and what’s in stock. What we won’t do is make health promises or give medical advice. Those questions belong with a qualified healthcare professional.

Who can shop with us

We follow ABCA’s rules as a licensed medical retailer. You’ll need a government photo ID and a DC registration, a temporary visitor registration, or an out-of-state card DC accepts. Our DC Cannabis Pass guide explains how to get set up, and visitors can usually do it online in minutes.

Ordering ahead

You can browse the menu and place an order for pickup online, then collect it in store. It’s the quickest way to visit if you already know what you want.
