Two products on the same menu can be priced very differently, and the number on the tag rarely tells the whole story. Package size, format and what’s actually inside all change the value. Here’s how we suggest comparing like with like before you buy.
Look past the sticker price
Start with three questions: what format is it, how much is in the package, and what does the label say? A pre-roll pack, an eighth of flower and a bag of gummies can sit at similar prices while giving you very different amounts.
Flower: compare price per gram
Flower is sold in grams or fractions of an ounce. Divide the price by the grams in the package and you have a number you can compare. As a made-up example, a $35 package with 3.5 grams works out at $10 a gram, while a $60 package with 7 grams is about $8.57 a gram. Those figures are illustrations only, not our current prices.
Edibles: read the whole package
For edibles, check the number of pieces, the total labeled cannabinoid content, the amount per serving and the ingredients. A cheaper pack may contain fewer servings or a different formulation. Read the directions, keep edibles away from children and pets, and don’t assume a product will affect everyone the same way. Our edibles page covers labels in more detail.
Pre-rolls, vapes and concentrates
- Pre-rolls: count how many are in the pack and check the total flower weight.
- Vapes: compare cartridge or device size, hardware compatibility and the ingredient list.
- Concentrates: extract types and package sizes vary, so compare the same type of extract rather than treating them as interchangeable.
Deals and live menu prices
A promotion might cover only certain categories, brands, days or stock. Read the terms before you compare a discounted price with a regular one. Our Daily Deals page lists current offers and their terms, and the live menu shows today’s listings. Final price and availability are confirmed in store.
