Flower is still the format most people picture when they think about cannabis. Comparing it by one number, usually THC percentage, misses a lot of useful information.
What to look at on the label
- Producer. DC flower comes from licensed cultivators. Recent flower on our menu has come from producers such as District Cannabis, Molecular Farms and Cultivated DC.
- Cultivar. The strain name.
- Cannabinoids. THC and sometimes other cannabinoids, shown as a percentage.
- Terpenes. Some labels list total terpenes, often around 2 to 3 percent on recent products we have carried.
- Package size and price. Most flower is sold in 3.5 gram packages. Work out price per gram to compare fairly.
Indica, sativa and hybrid
These are common retail categories and handy for browsing. They are not guarantees of how a product will feel, because individual products and individual people vary. See our sativa, indica and hybrid pages for more.
Use the guide, then the menu
Our flower page explains the category. The live menu shows what is actually in stock. Keeping the two apart means you never land on an out-of-date product list.
